President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has stated that his government will not protect anyone involved in drug trafficking. He shared this message during the launch of the 'Ratama Ekata' (A Nation United) program in the Northern Province. While speaking, President Dissanayake mentioned that investigations have shown connections between some ineffective government officials and drug smuggling groups. He strongly warned these officials to cut all ties with these illegal activities immediately or resign from their jobs.
