A sharp-weapon attack on two women occurred in the Tittagalla area of Ahangama, Sri Lanka. The Ahangama Police quickly arrived at the scene after receiving reports and took the injured women to the hospital with serious injuries. Authorities have confirmed that the suspect, a 52-year-old man from the same Tittagalla area, has been arrested along with the weapon believed to be used in the attack. Unfortunately, one of the victims, an 80-year-old woman, later died while getting treatment. The police have not yet revealed the reason behind the attack. The investigation is ongoing, led by the Ahangama Police.
