The United Arab Emirates expressed strong disapproval on Monday regarding Iran's attempt to launch a ballistic missile at Turkey. This incident is the second of its kind in under a week. In a statement from the official WAM news agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized this "treacherous attempt to strike the friendly Republic of Turkey." They noted that NATO air defenses intercepted and destroyed the missile after it entered Turkish airspace. The ministry called this aggressive act a "serious escalation" and a "blatant violation of state sovereignty," which threatens regional security and stability. The UAE emphasized that targeting allied and friendly nations is condemned on all legal and political fronts and warned that such actions increase tensions in the area.
