‘UNP’s Presidential candidate through Working Committee’

The UNP Working Committee will choose the UNP Presidential candidate, while the SLPP candidate would be chosen by the Rajapaksa family, Public Enterprise, Kandyan Heritage and Kandy Development Minister and Leader of the House of Parliament Lakshman Kiriella said.
“A political party is not a family controlled business,” he said adding that the SLPP is being manipulated by the Rajapaksa family.
