Price of bread up by Rs. 10 while prices of other bakery products also increased

The All Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association announced that starting from midnight today (23), the price of a 450-gram loaf of bread will rise by Rs. 10. This means that from tomorrow, a loaf of bread will cost Rs. 130. Additionally, the association stated that the prices of other bakery items will also go up by Rs. 10 at the same time. This price increase follows the government's recent hike in petrol and diesel prices, which occurs amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
