Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi announced today that Oman is “working hard” to ensure the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz. He pointed out the economic hardships caused by the ongoing war. Albusaidi stated on X, “Regardless of opinions about Iran, they did not start this war. It is already leading to serious economic issues, and I worry that these problems will worsen if the fighting continues.” He also mentioned that Oman is making significant efforts to establish safe passage plans for vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
