Iran s revolutionary guards says it launched “most intense” operation

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it has begun its "most intense and heaviest operation" since the conflict began, according to state media reports. The Iranian state broadcaster IRIB stated that the overnight assault involved missile strikes, including the long-range Khorramshahr missile, targeting locations in Israel and US facilities in the area. The IRGC declared, "We will persist with our attacks purposefully and powerfully, aiming for the enemy's total surrender. This war will conclude only when the threat of war is eliminated from our nation." During a Pentagon briefing on Tuesday, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth affirmed that the US will continue its efforts until "the enemy is completely and decisively defeated," emphasizing that this will happen on the US's own timeline. On Wednesday morning, alerts sounded in central Israel after the Israel Defense Forces indicated missile launches from Iran. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
