Shiranthi Rajapaksa, the wife of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, was scheduled to appear before the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today, October 27. However, she has stated that she cannot attend for personal reasons. The police have reported that she has asked for an extension of two weeks to present herself to the FCID.
