This morning, on the 17th, Gampola Police arrested three individuals linked to the drug trade associated with “Dubai Ishara,” a prominent drug dealer running a local drug network from Dubai. During the operation, officers seized five grams of heroin from the suspects. Investigations showed that they used a motorcycle to deliver drugs to various locations, including Gampola, Nawalapitiya, Ulapane, Doluwa, Gelioya, Peradeniya, and Weligalla. Two of the suspects were caught in the Doluwa area, while the third was arrested in the Mahara area of Gampola. The suspects, aged between 20 and 22, live in the Angammana and Thundeniya regions of Gampola. During questioning, they admitted that their heroin came from Colombo.
