Today, Sri Lanka's Nuwara Eliya Meteorological Station reported the lowest temperature at 8.0 degrees Celsius, as stated by the Department of Meteorology. In the Bandarawela area, the minimum temperature this morning was 11.6 degrees Celsius, and Badulla saw a low of 14.4 degrees Celsius. Polonnaruwa recorded a minimum temperature of 19.4 degrees Celsius, according to the Department. The Department of Meteorology also noted that minimum temperature data from regional stations is presented on a map in degrees Celsius. The latest weather update, released at 5:30 a.m. today, indicated that dry weather will continue in many areas of the island. There is a chance of frost in some parts of the Nuwara Eliya District during the early morning hours. Additionally, misty conditions are expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western, North-Central, and Uva provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts during the early morning.
