Two Russian citizens were saved after being carried away by strong currents while swimming at Ahungalla Beach. This event took place yesterday, on the 12th, according to police reports. A number of officers from the Police Lifeguard Unit of the Ahungalla Police Division participated in the rescue effort. The two individuals, aged 35 and 45, were successfully brought back to safety, as confirmed by the police.
