The Ministry of Education has announced that today marks the start of accepting appeal applications for Grade 6 school admissions for the year 2026. This is based on the results of the 2025 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination. Applications can be submitted online from today, January 12, until January 25, 2026. Students who are eligible can file appeal applications for up to three schools. They can do this by visiting the official Ministry of Education website at www.moe.gov.lk. The Ministry also mentioned that appeal applications can be directly submitted through the dedicated online portal at http://g6application.moe.gov.lk/#/.
