Individual hacked to death in Matugama, area residents set fire to suspect s house

A man was killed in Matugama after a personal argument turned violent. The victim, a 41-year-old resident of Upper Matugama, was attacked late at night around 11:40 p.m. on the 16th. The suspect, who is 36 years old, has fled the area, and the Matugama Police are currently conducting investigations. This morning, on the 17th, around 50 residents from Dodangoda went to the suspect's home and set it on fire, causing significant damage.
