LNP – Sri Lankan delegation to visit U.S. for trade talks
A Sri Lankan government delegation is set to depart for the United States on Friday (18) to hold negotiations aimed at reducing tariffs on Sri Lankan exports, Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath said today.
Speaking to the media following an event in Colombo (15 July), Minister Herath said the visit is part of ongoing efforts to initiate further negotiations ahead of the August 1 deadline, in an effort to secure additional tariff concessions on Sri Lankan exports.
