President donates Rs. 45 mil. to Dalada Maligawa

President Maithripala Sirisena has donated Rs. 45 million to the Temple of the Tooth Relic to renovate the Golden Canopy.

Issuing a Twitter message, the President said:

“The Golden Canopy of the Sri Dalada Maligawa needs renovation. I feel blessed to have donated Rs. 45 million today for this noble purpose.”
