First ‘Kumbal Perahera’ tonight
The first ‘Kumbal Perahera’ of the Kandy Esala Festival will be held tonight.
It will set off from the Sri Dalada Maligawa at 6.54 p.m. and parade the streets with the participation of four Deval sections.
According to the authorities, steps have been taken to provide all the facilities and necessary security for the pilgrims.
