What the hell does this Mahanayake know about Politics? Rukman does not seem to be gay - so what chance does he have with the present day UNP?

    I say this with sadness.

Sangha is the third triple Gem. It is a very noble & highest esteemed state lord Buddha gave to deserved `AARYA SANGHA`. Not to these cast minded, creed minded Maharajas in yellow robes. These greedy yellow robed idiots do not have even `ATASIL` or even `PANSIL`. People should know what they do behind the seens to get necessary votes to get these Mahanayaka positions. They are modern day popes in Buddhism. They are just Laymen in yellow robes. I know personally how he instructed some people to throw dtones and chase away a Noble Monk who was meditating in a forest in Kurunegala area. These Kandy Mahanayaka posts were created by Btitish during their rule to stop their mouths by bribing them with positions. History says a Mahanayaka positions were carried only by great `ARAHATH BHIKKUS only. Not by present day jokers.

When Lord Buddha gave this serman, 500 monks vomitted hot blood for fear, 500 monkes derobed and another 500 monks became `Arahath`.

[Sangha is the third triple Gem]

    Sirimath Bamba sirasehi Pa pisina

    Sariyuth maha muglan pilivelina

Piliweth saru maha sanga gana sobana

    Mudunath banda namdim bathi pemina

I worship, with my hands on my head and with all faith and love I can muster, that greatly-deciplined maha sangha of the hierachy of Sariyuth and Mugalan, which is worthy of wiping their feet on the head of maha Brahma.

(Vidagama Maithriya Himi - Lo Weda Sangarawa)

Definitely not these Jackasses in saffron robes.

Whom will the Mahanayake recommend for a slot in the National List of the UPFA?

[Whom will the Mahanayake recommend for a slot in the National List of the UPFA?]

The two of them have no problem with getting free (not Duty Free) new cars. So it has to be one of the Abiththayas - Perfect match for a Ministerial Position due to lack of any education. Behind the door experiences are more suitable for acceptance by UNP leadership.
