Sri Lanka Rtd. Gen. Fonseka will boycott the Military Courts

VP Parliamentary group leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake addressing a media briefing summoned by the Democratic National Alliance (DNA)on the 14 th at its office at Rajakeeya Mawatha said , Gen. Sarath Fonseka will not attend the Military Court at the Naval Headquarters where his case is to be heard on the 16th and 17th March.
It is the view of Gen. Fonseka that the Military Court has acted wrongfully from the beginning when he was abducted and he is being held in continued detention unlawfully. Therefore he is not going to extend co operation to the illegal actions and will not attend the military Courts.
The military Court has no legal basis to try Fonseka , and Gen Fonseka s lawyers will be adducing reasons to prove that , Dissanayake pointed out. Anoma Fonseka and Jayantha Katagoda also participated at this conference

That is the correct decision.
He should not attend the Kangaroo court.
None of the Officers court martialling could even recommend General for a promotion. They were just juniors. How can they court martial him.
That is a joke.
They are making a mockery out of it.
This is like, in good old days, King ask ministers to come naked to the king's court. Ministers are so submissive and don't have mind of heirs. hey go naked to the King's court.
Only watching people know what fools they are. |

I think it will be fair to have a trial against SF and MR.
MR Accuese, Got caught with Proof for Stealing Tsunami Aid Rs 800million meant to the tsunami victims.
SF Accuse with NO proof of making commission from purchase of less than Rs 1Million worth of goods. The enquiry must be independent and no influence should be made.
Then the whole world would know the truth and who is the biggest HORA. If any of them found guilty they will be stoned to death. |

| Going by SF backers arguments SL should not probe any corruption allegations at all. Why do they scream their heads off accusing of corruption only by the Govt leaders ? doesn't it applies to other politicians as well ? big or small ? If he is innocent all he has to do is to cooperate & show the world the true side of what he actual is, without hiding & grumbling like a spoil rich man's child. There are many questions he or his servants dying & crying over him has to answer without merely refusing to comment. How did he get millions craftily stashed away in bank vaults of relations ? why his son in law in hiding ? Naturally people when guilty shout the loudest to cover up their sins. History has proved all politicians who have robbed or harmed this country will one day be punished, it applies to even the present govt, so be patient & go before the courts & prove yourself, unless of course there are things to hide ................ |

After all these mayhem, Your best people could find General Buying some 12 Volt batteries, some binoculars.
that is all after all these allegations, accusation and investigations ?
Why could not make some big allegations. Think about the depth of the allegations for the other side.
A long list can be written. It should add up to Billions.
First make the system Honest, transparent and accountable.
Then ask those people to come out.
You people are working for money. You are trying to look for ANT- HOLES in the other side while your side has hell - holes.
