UNP did not print at least a handbill for the election, accuse a group of UNP MPs

  • 12 May 2008 23:19:43 GMT

Mahinda should now hold an Entire Series of Provincial Council Elections...and Trash the living daylights out of Traitor Ranil.

We in the South too have a right to Defeat Traitor Ranil again. It`s unfair to just give elections for the East. We too want to Defeat Traitor Ranil again.

At least the real UNP ers should now realise that they will never come to power with this Mr.Bean leading the party, this is the 14th defeat....if there is a General election, the result will be the same Or will be worse.....its the last chance to kick RANIL out......

  • 13 May 2008 00:01:24 GMT

Too much political changes between two big parties are not helping to the country.

Perhaps, Ranil is doing a great service to the country by not acting productively.

  • 13 May 2008 00:22:59 GMT

Mahinda asked for the Votes of the Eastern People..

Traitor Ranil asked for Helicopter`s to fly over the people

  • 13 May 2008 00:28:28 GMT

This is the Traitor Ranil`s 15th Defeat after becoming leader of the UNP.

If you count the Budget Defeat this is the 16th Defeat. The Budget Defeat must also be counted since Traitor Ranil and Mangala made a public Wow to defeat the Govt. at the budget.

[A group of United National Party (UNP) MPs say that the party lost election not only because of the malpractices of the government coalition but also thanks to serious shortages in UNP election campaign.]

I do not know how far above statement is correct. But I know something for sure.

That is UNP leaders point blankly said their govt. can`t extricate or liberate people of Eastern province from VP`s clutches.

In Sinhala there is a saying `Meeyak kadanne atha lewakanna nowei`

Mahinda and Pillyan liberated East and they have the right to govern.

Still some ingratitude idiots in Trinco district voted for UNP.

  • 13 May 2008 03:13:15 GMT

Yes Ranil Knows what his leadership`s fate.

Another defeat... Why waste the money.

Let others win and destroy countries good name by crying with pakkali NGOs

  • 13 May 2008 03:41:17 GMT

[UNP talked about not providing a helicopter to the leader to travel]

I like this.... This is very funy...

  • 13 May 2008 03:51:45 GMT

UNP made a big hu in Ranils Mahiyangana Tour, less they had to voters in East.

Loss of Ampara making big difference compare to Trinco hold.

There is nothig new about this news item. Ranil is a loser and he was in such a streak for some time now. UNP is like an NGO and that was not something that happened during the last few weeks. There were people who opposed Ranil`s leadership in UNP and they abandoned him making the same allegations long time ago. As such, it is unlikely that a group of MPs have recently become enlightened about some shortages in UNP they were not aware of before.

In contrary, the true news value in this reportage is LeN`s decision to publish an article that challenges Ranil. Has LeN realized that they can achieve nothing by placing their bets on a horse which is ideal for their mission (vision) unless it can never win.
