Remanded for blocking First Lady`s convoy

MR and his family are now paranoid as the people are getting to know how crook, cunning, double standard, low class, traitors they are, particularly after the revealations by Mangala/Sripathy.

The details are not clear. Did the lorry actually blocked the convoy on a free way?

There was another 1st lady of this sort in yesteryears eating humble pie now.

Please first ladies be careful - You have to return the laundry on the due date and thereafter you will be on the mat.

Hats off to Madam JRJ - the humble woman who did not us her position for any show off.

[This is bull! they weren`t trying to kill her they were stuck in traffic too!]

Fully agreed. This is madness at its best. Politicians and thier high profile wives shold stay away from busy roads during rush hours.

SL is fast becoming a police state with all the attention given to protect the king`s family and brothers.

This is a sort of thughry that our politicians of all colours give out to the man in the street. This is the rights violations that the IC is talking about.Good natured citizens who cares about the country and it`s people must put their heads above politics, make note of this and lobby their respective politicians.People seems to have humbled themselves to accept such treatment and the police and the courts haven`t got the courage to stand up to the rights of it`s citizens.Politicians of honour must respect it`s citizens, shouldn`t use emergency and security as an excuse to do what ever they want.

The law should be impartial to all citizens irrespectively there social states. In England many times royalties have been fined due to errand driving.

I hope the Judge should remand all drivers and cleaners who blocks the roads before delivering their judgments. Otherwise the people will lose the faith with the justice system in Sri Lanka.

This is just absurd... what if this poor man was in a tight spot and it was an honest accident...

I`m pretty sure that this is the case while stupid politicians are jumping the gun...

We`ve all experienced these stupid motorcades and how reckless these f00ls drive...

One day after work as i was driving through a green light a motorcade came thrashing down the road and ran the red light and the lead defender almost hit us. If i didn`t manage to get my vehicle stopped i`m sure these f00ls would`ve done the same to me... Bloody morons....

there has to be bloody limits to how they can mess with our rights to protect their butts...

It`s understood that they need extra protection but everybody else can`t be held at ransom for that... where are the rights of the common man

This is a common problem irrespective of who is in the power. Anizam is blasting MR but even UNP or JVP in power, they would behave the same way.

It looks like a problem between ruling class and common people but the real blame should go to PSD and MSD. They are ordinary solders and they try to show their colors to common people because they are going with ruling class.

One day I was crossing Chatam street and one white Defender came racklessly passed me, He almost hit me and I saw it was driven by a PSD solder, he was alone, he thinks the road belongs to him, because he is from PSD.
