Sinhalese will find difficult to accept any solution positive to Tamils!

That is what the whole problem!

  • 21 Aug 2006 16:07:14 GMT

This is something the thinking Sinhalese must take a very serious look at, keeping in mind the changing geo-political and economic advantages that we can benefit from as a nation.

The LTTE and tamil nationalists struggle for a seperate state will never end in achievement. It didn`t, at a time when such a thing was feasible due to the simple fact that the majority has proven capable of preventing it militarily and otherwise. As we stand now, the SLG has the ability to win a long drawn out war with the LTTE, at diststerous cost to all. But looking at how things stand, the need for such dramatic outcomes are becoming unnecessary by the day.

Times have changed drastically and inclusive, borderless nations that harness creative talent to the maximum prove to be the most successful within the new landscape.

Sri Lanka`s intelligent need to look hard at this scenario and support a viable solutions that allow all parties to meet on neutral ground with a modicum of self-respect intact. It is only within such a solutions package that a silent, gradual decommisioning of the LTTE military capability can take place, definitely without the details being known to the sinhala crazies and fringe lunatics. A combination of those factors could provide incentive for economic progress in the country, and stability can return.

Just like the IC is pointing out, beating the LTTE is no longer the issue. We need to find dignified solutions, and do that right now. The one discussed here appears like an acceptable middle ground where all concerned can meet in respectable compromise.

Lets` hope the president has the strength to control the crazies in his government, when the time for compromise arrives. More importantly, lets` hope the UNP will not undermine such an effort.

Prof Jayadeva Uyangoda was questioned by a Pro - LTTE jounralist. Questions were asked in a way that the answers would be compatible with LTTE strategy. Further, the author added a few more LTTE - terminology to fit the LTTE propaganda.

LTTE wants people from the sinhala side giving some acceptance to the LTTE philosphy. So, this is for the Sinhala - south.

So, reading this article we can understand what LTTE future directions are. In that way, it is a good article.

Because it is the amalagamamtion of LTTE strategy and Uyangoda`s explanations.

So, If we want to beat LTTE, extract what we want.

This article should explain to dumb LTTE tamils that how Velu was cheating the Tamils. He was talking about the separate state but he himself did not believe in it.

All these words eelam and other associated things has some other meaning. Dummies can not understand it.

Besides, when Tamil politicians coined the word Tamil eelam and the separate state in 1976 with the Vaddukkodei resolution, they fooled Tamils. Stupid Tamil extremist killers continued. They fooled them selves.

ONly thing they did was, they killed thousands of sinhalas and muslims and they dragged the countries economy to decades behind.

But, they need to understand that they also suffer in large proportions.

Big talks but the ground situation is this...

How the hell I can offer something workable when a gun is pointed at my head?

The first step is... The gun has to go... mutual trust can only be developed after that. Otherwise I will be giving out something reluctantly... just to save my life..

Finally... what / who guarantees that the monster would not back tomorrow with another demad...? Then what?

Rubbish... written with a hidden agenda.

[Sinhalese will find difficult to accept any solution positive to Tamils!]

Not only sinhalese, the Central govt of India would not accept it, nor will Pakistan. Federalism is the way to go. That probably is the last resort with only ONE national Military.

[ Jayadewa Uyangoda is another TRAITOR ]

I remember a few high ranking JVPers doing the socialist struggle, just behaved very much like LTTE high rankers.

They were poor, greedy, jealous, dumb etc., exactly like LTTE.
