Army Chief visits Jaffna

Not to worry, the people are behind the Army. This is what he said last week to the Parliamentarians.

Maybe the people have invited him for a Tea party.

I cautioned about the slip of words from a man commissioned to make the call for war or peace at his level.

President or any mother`s son can call for war. But this is the Man who knows the ground situation. If he decides to act a Baby or a Bully, he is who implores the Fate and/or Fame.

I was told in this forum that he is the Man to make it or break it!!

Let him decide his actions during his Tea party with the public. Good showing up.

Did Mahinda ask you for a Report from India?????

You should have got your damn training in Peace Keeping during the Ceasefire to save the lives of all citizens.

Have the Service Commanders ever explained the difference in Peace making and Peace Keeping??? No No NO...

Corruption was the prime reason to keep the Polity and the Public in the gloom.

    Fairplay

    Sarath Fonseka maame,

Can`t you take the JVP ravul mallila and JHU thatta mallila too with you to Jaffna? Better let them be there fighting with their LTTE massinas, instead of polluting air in South! (Visen visa nase!)

And, if someone puts a claymore bomb for ravul mallila and thatta mallila I am sure we will not miss them...

    Thamil,

In 1942, Japan captured Singapore. They ruled Singapore for 3 years.

In 1945, British recaptured Singapore. One of the first things Lord Mountbatten did was to demolish the graveyards of the Japanese soldiers in Singapore. I never saw anyone ever blaming Mountbatten for this. It just happens in the war...

Tell me why should anyone respect the graves of the dead from the otherside? Tell me whether such a thing has been done by any country during the World War II?

    Thamil,

Sorry, I mistook it for a graveyeard.

Anyway, why shouldn`t I compare Sarath Fonseka with Mountbatten?

Lord Mountbatten - last veceroy of British India - too divided India into three parts there by resulting in several wars and loss of millions of lives...

By appointing him mahinda thought he send a message that he is tough.

but by appointing him he send the message he is for war. but people dont want to wait until LTTE take action. they started to act .

there will be army death everyday. Army chief can go and count them.
