LTTE acting for world-wide sympathy, says JHU

  • 27 Dec 2005 04:50:04 GMT

Let us call spade a spade.

True, LTTE will go any length to achieve their cause, but killing Pararajasingham will not lead them towards their cause. So logically there is very less reason for LTTE to kill one of its own proxies...

The best possible candidate is Karuna.

JHU is chauvinistic and all - we all know that, but I do not think even they had a hand in this.

Anyway, JHU cheevaradharis should never worry that LTTE would kill them. They are LTTE?s best alleys. Without them (and JVP) how can LTTE create a division between Tamils and Sinhalese in the South? So why should they kill JHU cheevaradharis?

The JHU should concentrate less on the LTTE and more on exposing the activites of Christian fundamentalists in Sri Lanka.

They should concentrate on exposing those Christian fundamentalists running about trying to convert all the Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims of Sri Lanka to the facist version of Christianity that they follow.

Christian priests in Sri Lanka who urge new converts to Christianity to smash up statues and/or burn pictures of the Buddha and Hindu Gods and Godesses should be made to face consequences.

Well Naleen I think you are wrong when you say that this killing was not part of achieveing their cause. With the recent spate of killings by the LTTE and the international communities attention focused on their breach of the ceasefire violations, they needed to divert the attention elsewhere. Easy scapegoat would be to accuse the SL Gov of a major ceasefire breach. how do they do they do that? By killing one of their own in this instance.

    To all Christians and Catholics:

There are JHU meti-kollas who propagate communal hatred at the drop of a hat. Please understand that JHU cheevaradharees and abbittays do NOT represent the true Buddhist of this country. Saying JHU represent Buddhists is akin to saying LTTE represents Sri Lankan Tamils.

The true Buddhists of this country are compassionate, intelligent and respect the right of every individual to follow his/her own belief. The true Buddhist never insults other religions or beliefs. It is only the JHU cheevaradharees do so.

Please do not get misled by JHU hate propaganda. We want every community of this country to share this land and live peacefully.

Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all!

Looks like you have not heard the latest news. LTTE do not have to kill anybody to show the international community that CFA is broken. CFA is now broken by BOTH parties.

I do not rule out the possibility of LTTE killing the TNA MP but the chances are very little. All the speculations finally lead to our friend Karuna...who will be definitely the biggest beneficiary of this incident. And incidentally this happened in Batticaloa...

Naleen really loves the JHU. That`s why he foams at the mouth like a dog with rabies in every thread about the JHU. He seems to have wet dreams about the JHU. He really loves the JHU so much that he`s going to marry the party when he grows up.

I`m not admirer of the JHU but I think they should concentrate on exposing the facism of Christian fundamentalists rather than concentrating on the LTTE.

Fanatical Christian priests in Sri Lanka are running about trying to convert Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and all the non Christians to the facist version of Christianity they follow. They get converts to smash Buddha statues and burn pictures of Hindu Gods and Godesses. They use aid money to gain converts. They abuse the poverty of helplessness of people to gain converts and `harvest souls` for their God.

They create religious tension with their utter disdain for non-Christian religions.

Their bootlickes like Naleen will continue to deny that they do anything wrong. They will claim that they are white as snow and are as innocent as peas in a pod.

    Don`t be fooled.

Naleen, I have been upto date with the news. I am aware of the cordon and search operations done by the SL Gov and the incidents that sparked due to that and the killing of LTTE members in a couple shoot outs. every action has to have a reaction and it was a matter of time before the SL Gov decided to come out of their slumber and respond to the killings of the LTTE. That is a ceasefire violation but was their any other alternative that was left for the SL Gov? How long were they going to turn a blind eye to the killing spree of the LTTE?

We all know that the war will only destroy the futures of everyone in SL, but at the same time we need to have the parties involved in the ceasefire to be genuinely interested in achieving lasting peace. if there are ulterior motives in signing peace deals then we go nowhere!

There is nothing called `War AND Peace` (Leo Tolstoy got it wrong!) It should be `War OR Peace` You cannot achieve a settlement through talks when there is a war going on one side...

    There are two options...

    1. If we want a settlement through talks, both parties agree for a NEW CFA and proceed with talks with genuine interest from both parties?

    2. If no. 1 is not possible forget about talks and go for war...

    There is no `middle option`

  • 27 Dec 2005 06:04:48 GMT

The Church didn`t believe in a middle option either.

That`s why in Sri Lanka it went about killing people left and right and burning Buddhist and Hindu temples to convert the people to Christianity - through the colonial overloards.

Actually better to reform first the Hindu priests who sit around half naked worshipping a big stone dick.
