Wasa, will you please read the above item and then you will appreciate what I posted a few days ago about the prisons which you were praising as angels. This is just the tip of an iceberg. And see from whom they are accepting bribes, it is from the alleged paedophile. There was a hue and cry about LTTE supporting child intimacy, etc. now see the support in the South! I wish the paid speaker Kariyawasam too be informed of this. Our racial bias and hatred are the reasons why we don`t see reason and why we do not fight the common enemies. As long as the ethnic struggle exists SL will continue to deteriorate.

Jailors from the south have to be sent for training to the north.

Not done. I am not defending the Jailor who received about US $ 60 per month.

Why not go after the big sharks. Well they dare do it.

Thanks, I agree that there are corrupted officers in any organisation. These people must be punished irrespective of their position, race or intimacy.

Yes, we must fight for a free Sri Lanka. Corruption, favourism and lack of opportunity for the qualified ones are main causes of social unrest. These must be eradicated to achieve prosperity.

Brilliant! I know how true it is. But, whether it is small or big, bribes is not acceptable. We have to understand how difficult it can be for poor people at times, I mean the system. For example, how difficult to get done a simple thing from a government officer such as attesting a certificate.

Therefore, bribes should be completely omitted from the root level to the top. Higher the bribe and position of taker, the punishment should be greater.
