Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa visited the newly elected Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Tarique Rahman, in Dhaka. Dr. Jayatissa met with Rahman at his office in Sangsad Bhaban this evening, shortly after Rahman took his oath as the 11th Prime Minister of Bangladesh at the South Plaza of Sangsad Bhaban. Present at the meeting were the Prime Minister’s daughter, Zaima Rahman, new minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman, and other officials. Earlier, Minister Jayatissa arrived in Dhaka to be part of the swearing-in ceremony for Bangladesh’s new cabinet led by BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman.
