Another suspect linked to Akuregoda shooting arrested

Police announced that another suspect has been arrested in connection with the Akuregoda shooting. This suspect, a 28-year-old man, was taken into custody this evening (17) in Polgasowita by the Western Province South Crimes Detection Division. He is the sixth person to be arrested in the case involving the murder of the lawyer and his wife, which occurred on February 13 in Akuregoda.
