The Colombo Magistrate’s Court was informed today that Keselwatte Dinusha, an organized criminal, is being held under detention orders for questioning. The Keselwatta Police presented an investigation report to the court regarding Dinusha, who was recently arrested in India and brought back to Sri Lanka. The case was discussed before Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama, according to a report from Ada Derana. During the hearing, the Officer-in-Charge of the Keselwatta Police told the court that they have secured detention orders to keep the suspect for 90 days of questioning. The police also mentioned that they are looking into eight serious crimes linked to Dinusha, including murder, robbery, and serious injury. The Magistrate has scheduled the next hearing for February 14 and asked the police to provide an update on the investigations by that date.
