A group of five specialist doctors from India's Kerala state landed in Sri Lanka today, January 23, to help those affected by Cyclone Ditwah. These individuals are currently taking shelter in “Suraksha” relief camps located in the Badulla District. The medical team came at the request of Deputy Minister of Tourism, Ruwan Ranasinghe, according to an Ada Derana report. They will hold medical clinics on January 24 and 25, alongside 25 local medical staff. The team touched down at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at 4:15 p.m. today, arriving from Chennai, India, on an IndiGo Airlines flight 6E 1179, as reported by Ada Derana.
