Harsha Manoj Gardiya Punchihewa has stepped down as the Chairman of the Habaraduwa Pradeshiya Sabha, which is governed by the National People’s Power (NPP). He submitted his resignation letter to Ireka Dilrukshi, the Secretary of the Habaraduwa Pradeshiya Sabha, this evening (21), according to a report from Ada Derana. His decision to resign is said to be based on personal reasons.
