Police launch new initiative to prevent cybercrimes

Police have started a new program to stop cybercrimes. They made this decision after noticing an increase in fraud cases involving websites and social media. The Police Media Spokesman, Assistant Superintendent of Police F. U. Wootler, said the program is managed by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). This effort aims to protect people in Sri Lanka from online scams.
