Four people were arrested in Jaffna for illegally selling prescription drugs. The Sri Lanka Navy, working with the Jaffna Police Special Task Force, conducted the raid at the Jaffna Central Bus Stand and in the Nayanmarkattu area of Kayts Island. During the operation, authorities seized 860 prescription drugs and a motorcycle along with the four suspects. The suspects, who are between 22 and 29 years old, live in Ottamadam, Sankani, Nallur, and Koiyathodimum in Jaffna. The drugs, the motorcycle, and the suspects have been taken to the Jaffna Police Station for further legal action.
