We all have to be happy today of eliminating 'Terrorism' in our 'Mother Land', after 32 years, but the ceremoney is like a wedding with out the 'Bridegroome', because the General who commanded the whole battle against LTTE is in a 'Jail' and , Lieutenants commanded LTTE terrorists, on the 'Red Carpet'. This is Srilankan style.

These 'WAR HEROS' deserve a very big 'THANK YOU' for saving the country from brutal terrorists who nearly cut SRI LANKA into two countries !
The President Mahinda Rajapaksa took a very bold decision to wage war against tiger terrorists.
He deserves the hommage of the whole country for this noble act whereas other Presidents heeded the 'orders of foreign powers'.
Let us not forget the war heros who sacrified their lives or their body parts in the name of NOBLE SRI LANKA!
Mother Sri Lanka and her grateful children salute you all....
If MR was not elected as the President by war weary Sri Lankans, Sri Lanka would have had only a very limited space to fly the proud LION FLAG !!
Thank you Mahinda Mama...
SUBA ANAGATAYAK !

After all every successive political leader increased the defence budget
No pressure stopped operation Balwegayas, Jayasikurus
It is the fact that the tigers won ground battles and eliminated political and military leaders
This time the forces prevented that
Selling our assets to India to get their support may be a stroke of genious
So was killing Rajiv Gandi, 9/11, 7/7, Bombay Attack and the Global war on terror
Even the cease-fire and the tiger split
For instance JR's army did well, until India got in the way
Generak Kobekaduwa and Wimalaratne great, sadly eliminated by tigers
Premadasa started well, but was eliminated, so was Ranjan Wijeratne and Clancey Fernando
Jaffna regained, Elephant pass resisted, Kilinochi lost
Gamini Dissanayake and Athulathmudali eliminated
Pukaras, Avros eliminated
Weapons gone, Drovas sunk
Chandrika started well, nearly killed and lost one eye
Kilinochi captured for a day, Ratwatte, Daluwatte could not maintain
What was gained in 3 years, lost in 3 weeks
Poonyaran, Elephant pass gone, Jafnna resisted
Ranil was not interested, but splits the tigers
Fonseka refuses to decamp Jaffna
This time the Forces PREVENTED the ELIMINATION !
AND THE ARCHITECT OF THE GROUND-OFFENSIVE AND THE 4 YEAR PLAN, REWARDED BY A GRATEFUL NATION: LANGUISHING IN PRISON
No Pension !
:-)
The Indians have now told MR what to do, he has'nt been able to say no ! Even after giving them oil !!
