This shows the under-organized approach of TIME to select top 100.

Funny, they omited after they selected some names in top level. They should not include politicians, singers, other people and organizations, under one voting system.

Politicians and singers are having a specific popularity.

Well all these people who voted Mahinda as the most influential person in the WORLD should write to the TIME or go and burn the TIME offices just like they do in Lanka:))))

When I saw this vote, I posted closer view.

That was well before the omission.

If we see the top 100, inclusion of politicians into the group looks funny to me.

We know, MR or any other country leader has a very large popularity in local conditions. If this situation was tested in global scale, the bios voting influence can be expected. If the list is only about political leaders, then at least there is a reasonable contest.

TIME did the blunder. As a responsible media company, they misled the people and polluted the readers freedom.
