JRJ was the worst PM /President we had, useless basket.

Premadasa was the next worst President.

    Then Chandarika.

We can t criticize any thing until it comes to an end also we can criticize only incidence. We can t criticize a book until we finish reading the book. All the other presidents, other than incumbent president Mhanida Rajapaksa, did not do much to the country. Mahinda Rajapaksa spent 3-4 years on the war and successfully brought to an end.

With the new mandate he started working for the betterment of the country. Until his time in office comes to an end nobody can say whether Mahinda is a good or a bad president. We have to wait and see.

God wait till man dies to decide whether the man is going to the Hell or to the Heaven

Unarguably, the best was D.B. Wijetunga, though he did not seek the position and the Presidency was thrust upon him by the assassination of Premadasa.

As for MR, he is yet to start his second term. Lets wait till he completes his second term or, who knows, even third term, to pass any judgment.

[he has idolised JRJ as the best leader and only President in the post-Independence Sri Lanka, who used his executive powers for the benefit of the country!]

JRJ is the person who brought in the perks for politicians and turned it into a lucrative business for the uneductaed scum of society whome we today have as leaders and politicians in Parliament.

JRJ is also the person who halted the war when VP was cornered in Vadamarachchi and bowed down to pressure from India in 1987.

MR on the other hand is the only leader who did not give into any pressure from any one during the war and made it possible for people like SF to go ahead and defeat the LTTE.

If SF had been the commander of the army under JRJ he would never have been able to defeat the LTTE.
