JVP will commit political suicide

The day the JVP will commit political suicide by supporting a common candidate put forward by the UNP at the next Presidential Election is not too far, said Agriculture Development and Agrarian Services Minister Maithripala Sirisena when addressing a convention of the Bandaragama SLFP Central Organization at the Maithree Hall, Bandaragama on October 24.
The Minister said the JVP was able to secure 40 odd seats at the last General Election due to the sympathetic votes obtained from the supporters of the SLFP which was a democratic socialist party.
However SLFPers would not repeat that mistake again by supporting the JVP. Sirisena said various political parties are conducting seminars and discussions about the next election to be held in the country.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa will clear all doubts and announce whether it will be a Presidential or a General Election which will be held first when he addresses the SLFP national convention at the Sugathadasa Stadium Colombo on November 15. The UNP and the JVP are so bankrupt that they can not find a Presidential candidate on their own. That is why they are trying to run behind a common candidate said the Minister who added that any common candidate will ultimately be a UNP nominee.
Bandaragama SLFP organizer Tudor Dayaratne and several others also spoke.

| Why is Maithripala Sirisena so worried about a common candidate backed by JVP. Sirisena was never a supporter of JVP. Is it because of the fear that the common candidate who is supposed to be honest will act against all the corrupt politicians. Its time some patriotic honest leader came to power to get rid of the corrupt politicians and officials for good and put them in Jail like Lee Kwan Yuu did. We are all for such a person. |

Bandula1024 - Fear of what ?
How can the common candidate backed by JVP or any VP (V..P..???) act against anything ? You think he will get more votes than present President ?

There is nothing left for the JVP to commit suicide. The people have already hung the JVP by it's neck!! Look at the dismal performance by the JVP at the recently concluded SP elections!

Now JVP is supporting UNP, because JVP has no other options to survive in the field. After Weerawansa JVP does not know what they do and what they talk.
To be alive in the field they started again ' Weda Warjana' their Old song, they will soon back full time to this strategy, because after next election we can see the place of both JVP and UNP |

MR played a very crafty trick with a honourable statesman like Ranil Wickramasinghe who is clean in his reputation and has never been a jailbird, listen what Mangala has to say because he knows A-Z about how MR won the presidential election, Wimal Weerawangsa has a big mouth like the FISH he is still licking with no LUCK he will lick forever, he tried to tie up with Ranil prior to the elections but Ranil rejected him totally. |

MR is the man who can do all the tricks against any HONORABLE stateman (Ranil ?) ! or Babarian Killer (Prabha) or chattering Parrot (Somawansa). It is the proven truth and you also agreed!
