Rich List Publications has released RICH LIST 2008, the most successful business people in Sri Lanka. The book contains information about the companies, their histories, their brands and their directors.

There is an economic history timeline of Sri Lanka and graphs on major economic indicators. This book is a snapshot of wealth at a particular time in our economic history.

Some companies have been omitted from the list and others have been added due to various changes that have taken place. The new entrepreneurs continue to make gains, this is particularly so of Vallibel Holdings and Softlogic Holdings.

Companies like MAS Holdings and Brandix have successfully continued their integration strategies and established themselves as global players in a very competitive market place.

Several new entrants who were identified and their names have been included as a separate list at the end of this book.

Its not the richest. Its 'The most succe$$ful business people' of Sri Lanka.

Either way, this list is incorrect because Prabhakaran is not there. His organization rakes in a whopping $300 MILLION a year! Guess who's the richest of them all?

Prabakaran should be in the 'richest, but with nothing to show for it' list! I think the $300 million per year has half-gone into his family's personal bank accounts, and the other half has gone into his stomach! LOL!

There are many ways to become rich, but many more to become poor. Of course it's usually not easy and many quick methods involve a lot of risk. so take your time and follow these steps to build your wealth.

I heard that both Zoysa and Upali wijewardana were very wealthy successful businessmen in SL. Does anybody know about them?
