This will be end of UNP.

But, we (Sri Lanka) need a party like UNP....!

[Traitor Ranil is destroying the UNP Beyond Belief]

    100% agreed.

Ranil may have rented the `Elephant` symbol to the SLMC.

But I also wonder what became of the SLFP and the `Hand` symbol?! It looks as if they have been pawned to the Alliances and will never be redeemed!

    100% Reject on principle.

Symbol belongs to the party and it is the decision of the politburo to decide whether to rent or sell.

[Ranil has rented party symbol to turncoat SLMC leader Sirisena ]

    so what!!!

FYI Sirisena Appuhami mame... the ruling party you are in now (after giving your mukku for portfolio) has no difference than UNP....

after all, all minor parties do the same.... even you and your donkey-sybol-rebel group did the same... to gain power and portfolio....

so, please stop pointing fingers to each other.... we all know very well about all of our politicians in the island... all are `eka itte pol`.....

[Traitor Ranil is Destroying the UNP Beyond Belief...... ]

Look whose soo concerned about the `Welfare` of the UNP. :) :).. All these Punnakku Thradayas are going into Panic mode now.

Let the UNP worry about UNP problems and let the Hori Balu thradayas worry about PUNNAKKU problems.

[If Hakeem becomes CM on UNP ticket, this will be the end of the UNP in the East. UNP is actually better off Loosing the Eastern PC than giving the CM Position to Hakeem. ]

LOL.. i dont think i need say much about this statement, considering whom its coming from. ALL that needs to be said is - Punnakku booruwa has been caught with his Amude down. Now the ONLY option for PUNNAKKU balla is murder, thuggary, vote rigging, bribing just like he did in the 2005 election. In 2005 even with the support of the JVP + LTTE he couldnt win the east.

UNP-SLMC alliance is the BEST thing that could have happened. Punnakku Raja and his croniers crapping in their pants. So the sudden `love` for the UNP by MOtta ralas BIGGEST gal kolla.

  • 3 Apr 2008 19:50:16 GMT

    Yes you correct,

MR led by Mervin Bogollagama and Silva with the team concern about the welfare of the party and the country at large.

    `Ane kale wane wase` !!

[UNP-SLMC alliance is the BEST thing that could have happened. ]

By the above statement, Anusam is admitting that Flushing the LTTE from the East is cleary NOT the BEST THING for Anusam Nana and Traitor Ranil!

This is the fisrst time in TWENTY YEARS that the East is Voting in a Provincial Council Election....

Let Hakeem try and win the election first!. If Hakeem wins, Mahinda will take Hakeem into the Govt. With JRJ`s executive presidential power`s these minor elections are no big deal. Mahinda has More than enough Political Mussel to absorb Hakeem again if necessary. Ultimately it will be Traitor Ranil and the UNP which will pay the political price for all this.

No Matter Who wins, in the end they will be part of the Govt. because the Eastern Province Development Program can be carried out only with the financial and administrative support of the central Govt.

The Eastern people will decide on the winner. The important point is that Mahinda was able to flush out the Tigers from the East and allow the the Eastern people to Elect a Provincial Council of their Choice for the first time in 20 plus years..........This is the only reason why Hakeem is able to run for the Cheif Minister Position in the East.........

Anyway it`s wonderful to see Traitor Ranil Who Boycotted the Local Govt Elections few weeks back giving lame excuses.......contesting this election..(Even at the cost of Selling UNP`s `elephant` to Hakeem.)

    Anusam Nana is calling me

    I quote:

    [Punnakku Thradaya]

    end quote.

This, once again goes to sho the deep personal hatred he has for me! I must be doing somethind right!!

  • 4 Apr 2008 00:05:50 GMT

    Anusam says

    [sudden `love` for the UNP]

There is nothing `sudden` at all about my love for the decent, right thinking UNP`ers. Mahinda has the support of all such UNP`ers today and yes! Hardcore SLFP`ers likemyself have deep admiration for the hardcore UNP`ers Led by Minister Karu Jayasuriya.

Even Ansuam Nana himself will agree that it is better for `Any Govt.` to be influenced by moderates like Karu, Rajitha, Hemakumara, Mahinda Samarasinghe, Keheliya, Lakshman Yapa, Navin Dissanayake, P. Dayaratne, Neomal Perera (List Goes on and on for the better half of the UNP MP`s) and the likes Rather than being influenced by Weerawansa, Lalkantha and Somawansa of the Radical JVP.....

So Yes, as an SLFP`er I am Genuinely fond of the UNP and we will NEVER forget how the UNP`ers supported us and strengthened the Mahinda Rajapaksa Administration.

[Let the UNP worry about UNP problems and let the Hori Balu thradayas worry about PUNNAKKU problems. ]

I do not agree with Gamiya that it is only him referred to as Hori Balu Thradayas (look at the `s` at the end). This by and large is the attitude of current UNP. There lives us the postmodern UNP elite, totally internationalized, pro-business, totally hot (rosy I would say)liberal conservative and what not, and the rest of the Hori Balu Thradayas, who are basically ignorant, not very modern and liberal, mostly speaking Godey Sinhala, Buddhist, not allowed at foreign embassies, not listen to hip Hop western music etc. (Gamiya could be on of those, but it is not only him.)

Now here is the tragedy: Current modern UNP, has to ask for votes from these Hori Balu Tradayas. More often than not, they have refused to vote for UNP during the past 20 odd years. That`s pretty painful.

So what do we do? We sell our symbol to Hakeem, who is elite, very modern, and breaks all the traditions of being faithful and anti-Mangala-who is a homosexual rejected by Islam- in turn is a close ally of Ranil. Can you see where it is heading?

No because Gamiya, it`s very complex that Hori Balu Thradayas like you, me and others are not able to understand.
