    [Could be aliens.]

Yes, could be Eelam `illegal` aliens!

Better ship off some of those aliens from Colombo Lodges!

[Yes, could be Eelam `illegal` aliens! ]

Yeah we know MR only speaks the truth.

MR never tried to steal money from Helping Hambanthota

MR never used the murderous Wambota gang to eleminate political opponants.

MR and family never plundered the country..

Good punnakku for all the PEHs. :) :)

On a LIGHTER note - Punnakku rajas thinking is - He and his family can PLUNDER this country but NO one should report about it.

    [

However, he said that the government will take all actions to protect the media freedom. ]This will certainly be done after another committee investigates the allegations and publish its report. There may be delays in preparing the report as in other cases of human rights violations.

I think, GOSL President is indirectly responsible for ATTACKS on SLBC - Employees.

[However, he said that the government will take all actions to protect the media freedom. ]

In Sri Lanka, Media Freedom means IRRESPONSIBLE REPORTING and REPORTING FOR DESTRUCTIVE POLITICAL ADVANTAGES.

[I think, GOSL President is indirectly responsible for ATTACKS on SLBC - Employees.]

    no cant be!!

dude the gosl is pretty much responsible for all the atrocities!!

The statement itself is stupid. All governments in any part of the world is responsible for the well being of its citizens.

This is why the state persecutes the offender unless it is a civil case.

As far as Rupavahani is concerned there is a patten of attack and all this started after the good Dr. tried to show-off. So what does this say about the Sri Lankan Police Department? They are incompetent even to solve a open case like this can you imagine them handling larger and complicated cases. Where is justice, law and order in SL?

If Ranil steps down and lets someone with good leadership qualities to lead UNP, MR potentially will lose next electrion with these goons.

  • 14 Mar 2008 23:36:25 GMT

In SL most media is controlled by the govt and if anything is published that hurts the govt ministers it is `irresponsible reporting`.
