    No discrimination

As referred by Senator Obama in this January inability of not accommodating others `who are not like us` and pointing Sri Lanka as an example, when `everybody looks the same.` We are aware of the fact even before President elect Barack Obama refers to what we already know. Unfortunately it`s the other sector who created this dangerous division who looks the same. It is unreasonable and unacceptable for another sector to giving to this black-mail.

For a population of 20% to claim such a wide portion of the very land they have already made a home is beyond belief. This would never happen and it is the truth. If they also think like others as stated by the Great Leader of the most powerful Country perhaps they may change! As for a division of the Country it would never happen as long as this most precious and adorable gem attached to the Crown of the World!

The blacks in the US who could not even board a bus with whites in it a few decades ago now have produced a president for the entire nation. Great! I wonder if Martin Luther King ever immagined the dawn of such a day.

Immagine a tamil, muslim or christian sinhala becoming the president of Sri Lanka?!

Will the mindset of our people change for it to be a reality some day?

[World wishes Obama to say good riddance to politics of terrorism`]

Will the World get its wish fulfilled or will it remain just a vain wish?

Some interesting thoughts in an article in today`s Island captioned [Obama: Hope for US, but not for the world]

If it can happen in America it can happen in Sri Lanka. As for a Maori PM in Wellington - Well! Hmm!
