Rupavahini security changed, heads to roll
Wednesday, 2 January 2008 - 9:40 AM SL Time

A new security service has been at the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation following the incident where Labour Minister Mervyn Silva and a group of his goons attacked the News Director.

A member of the employees association of the SLRC told The Island that the earlier security service was withdrawn as they had faile to perform their duties correctly on the day of incident.

The new service had been given strict instruction that they should be very careful in admitting outsiders to the SLRC premises.

SLRC sources said there may be a number of changes in the administration after the incident involving the Labour Minister but declined to give details.

I wonder.....security changed by SLRC or upon MR's orders????

I wonder....security changed for their failure in doing the security task (in letting Toku Mervin and his Kudu Mafia inside SLRC or that they let other news agencies in to report the incidents...and bringing the truth to the world)

I'm sure.....news director will be kicked out very very very soon.....

Is the minister of Labour an outsider for a state owned entity?

If the minister abuses his power and takes with him murderers and drug dealers: Is that the fault of the security firm?

Who is actually responsible for the impunity that murderers and drug dealers enjoy?
