Prisons Chief disgusted

Except for politicians most others in SL are also disgusted.

Most of the IRCs in prison have the patronage of most politicians.

Sri Lanka is a country ruled by the corrupt for the benefit of the corrupt! The honest, civic minded citizen has no place in SL.

GOSL should introduce capitol punishment and legislators should be dealt severely for entertaining criminals.

    Major,

I don`t have to remind you that you did such a good job in cleaning Colombo after Kathir murder, you were taken off on the 11th day itself by the political forces and eventually placed at the Prisons by the political setup.

Now you should have realized that backstabbing is prevalent not only in the forces but also among politicians and convicts and in all areas including Judiciary, Administration and Forces. As of to-day there is no place in our beloved country to do an honest job.

My advice as a well wisher is for you to get to a side and watch the country disintegrating into a Failed State Situation or go abroad and earn your millions.

[watch the country disintegrating into a Failed State Situation]

Srilanka is the 25th failed state country in the world according to the Failed state index 2006.

    http://www.fundforpeace.org/programs/fsi/fsindex2006.php?column=total&

Srilanka is sleepwalking into an irreversible nightmare,

    What a sad situation.

[go abroad and earn your millions]

If you can afford , East or West home is best.

I heard some really good thing about Major General (retired) Wajira Wijegoonewardene. He is a honest and dedicated Officer. Like hmdqbl said. He did a really good job clearing Colombo.

If he feels that way he must resign

Every action has equal and opposite reaction. That is the law of karma. If violence and corruption is promoted and enjoyed under pretext of war - then someone has to pay. Prisons promoted such corruption by imprisoning and punishing Tamils way above their earned levels. Now the karma is coming back to the prison system through its head.

    Vamp4,

    [who says? Olugediya.

Then nothing will move everything get stand still.]

True - not about olugediya but about standing still. We call it break-even. But when we work collectively - there are delays and accelerations in the effect and hence we do not stand still but keep moving. According to my Tamil education - Newton said that this in science. Hindus said it loooooong looong time ago - hence the system of karma. This is why Lord Krishna says - work without expecting the fruits of your action. In other words you will get the fruits of your action - naturally and the longer it takes the sweeter the fruits.

    Vamp4,

[It is also karma for people to loose their home sweet home.]

Yes. It is either cause or effect. If it is effect and is not deserved the person gets a better home / family.

We, sinhalese, are of such deceptive, manupulative nature that nobody knows who is speaking the truth. Wije is talking about conspiracy to kill him but he may be also conspiring to kill another. We love conspiracy theories. In SL soceity, people love conspiracy.

Remember he is from the forces. Forces are rotten from head to bottom. they consume a large chunk of national wealth for nothing. They keep the war going because it is benefial to them and their political masters. They should be enagaged in building roads, culverts and growing some cassava and sweet potatoes.

If would be very insteresting for an academic to do a research on the subject of `Sri Lankan conspiracies since 1948`.
