Burglars have remove over ninety cellure telephones from a telephone dealer at Katukele, Peradeniya Road on a recent night.
The telephones values at several thousands of rupees have been stolen by the intruders who entered the shop by cutting five padlocks of the front entrance, the owner of the cellure phone shop said.
The pieces of the padlocks were taken away by the burglars with them, the proprietor of the shop said adding that there were a large number of cellure phone which were meant ot be repaired. They belonged to the customers.
The cellure phone shop situated in front of the fuel filling station was one of the business premises, burgled in the area during the fortnight.
Kandy police are investigating into the complaints.
