Sri Lankan names cause Italian computers to break down

This is a common practice. If somebody sponsors your stay or application the country grants visa will give priority for such applications. This is the main reason why minority tamils in Sri Lanka has greater chance to get visa in foreign countries.

Poor but proud slankans have long names indicating their caste, province, district and village. What an idiotic way of giving names. Just give a name or two with the surnames. Then again, Slankan names are very difficult to pronounce and spell. Even ID card department make million mistakes when writing two million cards. Error rate 50%.

Some names like wijegunawardene, saparamadu, are laughable to say the least. Those people should not apply for forign jobs and should refrain from travelling abroad if they want to keep those funny names.

Sri Lankans are there all over the world and in every developed country which all have computerised systems. No other country has reported a computer system break-down because of Lankan names except Italy. Wonder where the fault is. Obviously the Ravioli guys have a long way to go in Computer systems design.

Guys, it has nothing to do with Lankan names. It is just that the Italianos are not up to it with Computers.

Both Sinhala language and Sinhala surnames are testimonies of the uniqueness of Sinhala nation. This again proves the fact that Sinhala is a group of Hela people got Aryanized through a process initiated by the Vijayan migration and NOT a stock migrated from India or any other part of the world. As in the case of Sinhala language, names similar to most Sinhala surnames cannot also be found in any Indian culture.

Somebody makes me laugh my head off. Most sinhala names and similar names can be found in most parts of India and even in Africa. For example, there are `Banda`s is Africa. Wijesinghe, Wickramasigha, sellaperumal, nirupam, Wickarmabahu, parakkramabahu, rajapassa, etc. In every country some names are unique. There is no doubt about it. How come some muslims have mudiyanselage tag. Whatever names are, Slankans are a mixed race. Only Vedda people have not mixed with invaders from india. What was the surname of Vijaya???? from whome sinhalase beleive they decend from. What was the surname of king Elara. What was the surname of king dutugamunu??/

Though some names may be unique, Slankans sinhalase and tamils are mixed like a cocktail. It is high time we burned that rubbish book called mahawanse.
