The police on Wednesday arrested a gang of six persons, including two Tamils from Sri Lanka and Singapore, on charges of possessing fake passports, visa stickers and degree certificates in the name of different universities. It was operating from a house in Virugambakkam.
Following information that some people indulged in circulating fake passports, Commissioner of Police G. Nanchil Kumaran directed a special team to probe the complaint.
A decoy approached the gang for a passport and the police arrested the gang members when they offered him a fake passport for a price.
The gang allegedly replaced photographs in invalid passports with photographs of persons who sought passports. A colour photo copier machine was also seized.
The arrested are T. Mahendran, Jagadeesan, both residing at Tirumangalam, K. Abdul Basheer of Tiruvallur, C. Leo of Pamban Chatram, Chinniah of Kodambakkam and Simon of Virugambakkam.

Gang held for dealing in fake passports.
Again Tamils.
They talk like only Saints in the whole galaxy but act like only thugs in the whole gallery.
Consult Tamils for
Money laundering, Credit card frauds, Extortion, Plundering, Prostitution and Pimp service, Passport scandals, etc etc.
World class racketeers by birth.

While in Singapore, most Sri Lankans are welcome as guests, foreign talents as well as closed business associates. However, there are a group or groups of Sri Lankans operating illegal street prostitution in the streets of Singapore.
This has attracted anti-social behaviours as well as crimes into the community.
Apparently, residents and community are defending themselve against these black-sheeps and have established communication channels with the authorities to observate and investigate these groups.
Some of the women and girls have to stand along the streets days and nights for long hours. The male pimps and lookouts lurk at street corners keeping watch over their girls and the Police.
Such black-sheeps are bringing national shames to Sri Lanka with their gangster-like behaviors.
Some videos will be posted in youtube as following clip:-

Chandra2007,
welcome to this forum ...
but honestly, i have serious doubts, that any Sri Lankans do play any role in prostitution outside of SL.
Apart from servicing overweight females and ugly gays from Europe in SL there seems to be zero talents to become in any way competitive in any such business.
