Army traitors face death penalty

I agree that media should be responsible in its reporting where national security is concerned. I hope that they have mopped up the network handling these traitors before moving to arrest them.

The media only reports what has happened, unless you want it to print something you want them to print.

Anyway real traitors are the ones who are sucking the country dry.In the name of war they make billions while the rest of the people suffer. Suffering that can be avoided and if managed properly SL has enough resources to develop with the rest of the world. Instead it is going back wards.

Yes traitors should be hanged. But find the real traitors.

This punishments must be carrying out in public place like Gall face ground.....

Giving death penalty has no meaning at all. confining to a cell for the rest of his life while giving time to regret for what he did is enough as a punishment.

    Whatreallyhap

You are a genius. How did you read my mind. I wanted to say something along those lines.

Let me add something: Kehellia (govt spokeperson) talks about `responsibility`. That is good. But, tell me, has the govnt been acting and expressing itself with responsibility. No, it says one thing and does something else. And keeping saying different things on the same thing. It goes on and on. Nobody knows who is to beleive. The govt media is the least reliable. It is the irresponsibility on part of people like Kehelliya and GOSL so far, that has led the country to where it is.

Is building a bunker in the heart of Colombo a responsible thing? Did the govt consider the repercussions it would have on the economy besides the inconvenience it would cause to the ordinary people.

    So much for responsibility.

At least the FIRST one should have a noticeable death. So, others who are engaged in that or who wants to ENGAGE in that will be careful.

500 years ago, they would be rolling inside a barrel full of thorns, or they would be torn into two pieces, on `ULA HInduwanawa`.

    Thinking

Relevant to what we discussed yesterday..

[Responding to a question raised by a journalist on the alleged attempt to arrest the Sunday Leader newspaper editor Lasantha Wickramatunga last week, Minister Rambukwelle said the lead story in question could indirectly aid the terrorists.

The report headlined `President to get Rs 400 million luxury bunker` created a stir in the defense circles resulting in an attempt by the CID to arrest Mr. Wickramatunga, a move which ultimately did not materialise]

Afterall Lasantha may not last long

why did this report create a stir among the defense circles..get to the bottom of the problem and find out who leaked this highly classified information..Punish him..not Lasantha..
