Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel felicitates Murali

Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel participated at the felicitation function organized by the Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club held on April 8 at the P. Sara Stadium under the theme 'We Salute Our King of Spin.'
At this ceremony Mobitel facilitated its brand ambassador and record breaking Sri Lankan off spinner Muttiah Muralideran on his landmark achievement of capturing 1000 international wickets in both Tests and ODIs collectively. Muralidaran is the only bowler in the world to achieve this feat.
Among those present at the felicitation were Chief Executive Officer Suren J. Amarasekera, Chief Marketing Officer Nalin Perera, Marketing Communications Executive Buddhika Kuruppuarchchi and members of the Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club.
'Murali is a world class Sri Lankan bowler and the first bowler in the world to capture a 1000 international wickets and similarly Mobitel is the only indigenous mobile telecommunications provider in Sri Lanka that has made vast gains in the past few years in the local mobile telephony industry', said the chairman Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel Anil Obeyesekera.
