Wrong injection kills baby

This is a first degree murder.

  • 24 Mar 2006 02:39:09 GMT

There is no such thing as `First Degree Murder` in the SL legal system! If at all it could be a charge of `Culpable Homicide not amounting to Murder` as there is nothing to suggest this guy had the `intention` to kill this baby. If `intention` can be established then definitely it could be a charge for `Murder`.

This guy didnt have the intention for murdering, but is possible the parents insisting him if he can give out medication to ease the fewer.

this guy must be mad , if there is high fewer he could have suggest many things or he could have give some simple drugs. he dont need to do injection.

But who knows at what situation he gave this injection, he may have consulted his wife, investigation is needed but dont blame those parents who lost their child in their view he gave the injection that killed the baby. it is devestating to loose a child , have those same couple ever felt before how would anyone feel when they loose their kids?? there are thousands of kids died in jaffna and all sarrounding areas by shell , navy attacks and air attacks.

where would those parents angry go??

    Kiwi are you a lawyer?

This is also a byproduct of our poverty and backwardness which the SLFP/UNP fake democracy has brought to the people. If there was a professional health department with international standards of care this baby might not have had to die. Are these private clinics regulated properly by the govt to make sure that the personnel meet the standards of care and are fully qualified? Profit and healthcare are usually a tragic mix.

    Lali you said:

`I am telling again Sri Lankan doctors are very good

What bad experience you had with Sri Lankan doctors?`

The answer is letting some creatures to be born in this world. One should terminate pregnancy not only to safe guard the life of the mother but also to rid of dangerous elements being born in this world. It may sound unethical but who knows one day this may happen and I wish it happens.

You are fine Lali and carry on.

This kind of `sick` doctors should be given serious punishment. If the wife is a doctor, how can the husband `try to become one?` These should be made public and punishments should be given accordingly. Very tragic.
