Ravindra meets President, appointment likely

It?s dangerous to do double acting in party politics. Anyway UNP is loosing their strong supporters.

  • 11 Mar 2006 01:08:23 GMT

`I have been associated with the President for some time now and I decided to meet him as a friend,` he said.

What a load of crap this is.. Mahinda has a vision???? This must be a joke... The only thing he has is a dream... With his ideas and the JVP/JHU idiots on his case all the time he might be better off if he woke up from this dream and faced the reality of the situation...

This is absloutely no problem. In politics there are no friends or foes beside UNP have lost the plot sometime ago with their ailing leadership and activities.

Randeniya has not been a politician of Vijay`s calibre though he was a former UNP MP. Its better Randeniya as a good actor now to get his sights into cinema with MR.

Its a good time for this educated actor to do something for the cinema in the country.

Ravindra why don`t you start acting with CBK,she is a master actress.

  • 11 Mar 2006 04:15:58 GMT

What happened to Sanath Gunethilaka? Is he still CBK`s lover boy?

  • 11 Mar 2006 07:12:25 GMT

Nowadays double acting has become a way of life for anyone and everyone and not only for actors. `Make hay while the sun shines`, and wait for the next move. Only the ones who cannot re-adjust themselves accordingly are in trouble. Politicians are making the moral back bone for our nation

  • 11 Mar 2006 07:43:57 GMT

This is a demonstration of weak UNP leadership. The party people are unable to do anything because of the lack of direction.

Pole vaulting is synonymous with party politics all over the world, not just Sri Lanka. The difference in Sri Lanka is that in recent times the crossover to the Government has been so numerous. The whole think boils down to weak UNP leadership.

Perhaps we should appoint the eminent economic analyst Anizam as UNP leader!

Actor or no,all selfish politicians are always on the look out for a place where they can gain something. Now,the UNP is not going to make any profit in the business of politics for some time,it is the most advisable thing to do.Many more will follow soon.As a politician,he is a non entity in our country. So it is not going to make an earthquake except for him having some personal favor from the president.

There should be no party politics for the development of the country. However most of the politicians put `Party before Country` and they keep saving their a55es regardless what happens to the country for their own survival. This is the only reason our country is still under developed.

There is no problem of joining to whatever the party for the benefit of the country, but themselves. We don`t know Ravindra`s intentions in this regard, and it`s too early to speculate anything,..

If Ravindra is a real PZATRIOT, he SHOULD WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT FREE OF CHARGE-without drawing any remunerations. All those who join the GOSL from opposition parties are SELFISH MONEY STEALERS. It is the public money that these people are drawing from GOSL and not that of Mahinda or Ranil.

It is a pity that GOSL has become an EMPLOYMENT EXCHANGE for all deffectors from opposition parties while millions are suffering without proper jobs or shelter. All these people who draw public funds for being alienated to the GOSL will suffer in HELL for spending public funds INCLUDING MAHINDA or ANY WHO PROVIDE SUCH JOBS.
