U`grads allowed bail in sexual abuse case

Seven 2nd year undergraduates of the Horana Sri Palee Campus, of the Colombo University, who were arrested by Horana Police for allegedly sexually abusing nine freshers in a chumery on Valentine`s Day, were on Wednesday allowed bail by the Horana Magistrate and ordered to be produced in Court on 1 March.
According to HQI Horana police, Inspector A. Randeniya, the suspects had on Tuesday around 7.30 p.m. forced themselves into the chumery on Padukka road and forced the victims to remove their clothes and sexually abused them. However one of them had managed to escape from the clutches of the perpetrators and take refuge in the adjoining Vidyaratne Pirivena. One of the monks in the Pirivena had complained to the police about the incident and the law enforcement authorities had immediately rushed to the scene and later arrested the suspects.Horana Police is conducting further investigations.

Tck,
According to your excerpt script all the bright Uni students always end up in 'friendship' rather the marriage.
So does that imply those who actually got married after having affairs in Uni would end up more likely in a divorce due to their foolishness? |

Guys,
I cannot see anything even remotely related to ethnic issue in this news item. This is a story of one group of university students sexually abusing another. No politics at all.
So do we have to show our dirty racist feelings here too by making totally unnecessary comments which insult another community?
Some people have gone so racist now that I am sure they make racist remarks even having sex. |
