Opposition leader Ranil Wickremesinghe leaves for India tomorrow for a visit including talks with high level officials of the Indian central government, his office said yesterday.
Wickremesinghe who will be in India till December 3 will initially visit Calcutta and thereafter fly to New Delhi on November 29 for discussions with senior Indian officials who were not identified.
Wickremesinghe normally meets with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Mrs. Sonia Gandhi during his visits to India.
He is also due to attend several functions in Indore and will deliver a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management in Indore on December 2.
His office said that he has also been invited to be the chief guest at the Annual Day function of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Indore.
